Our favourite project is on Landezine!

We are very happy that our work in landscape architecture has once again been mentioned in the international landscape architecture press. The article on Landezine details the design concept and the creative solutions that have been used to bring the building and the surrounding space into harmony.

We are at the 3rd National Salon of Architecture!

Our office was honoured to be among the exhibitors at the 3rd National Salon of Architecture with several of our works.

This exhibition summarises Hungarian architecture of the last five years both within and beyond the borders, visitors can explore various architectural ideas grouped around inescapable issues related to the most important challenges of our time. The works on display range from family houses and educational buildings to mega projects, from the first sketches and tenders to completed buildings. There was a separate section on the co-disciplines, including landscape architecture.

The 3rd National Salon of Architecture at the Kunsthalle is open from 11 May to 15 September 2024.

Gardenworks team participates in international design competition

The office entered the design competition launched by the Timișoara Municipality in autumn 2023. The task was to rethink the axis connecting the “main street” of Timișoara, Opera Square, and the square in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral.

The close-knit team set to work with great enthusiasm. During the design process, it was important to modernise the district in line with the large European cities, while also emphasising its historical values and the richness of its green spaces.

20th birthday of Gardenworks

This year the studio celebrates its 20th anniversary, and we organised an exhibiton in the community room of the Astangajóga Educational and Cultural Foundation in Budapest. The posters on display summarised the most significant projects completed in the company’s history and also presented the Kuhn family garden in Pilismarót.

The opening of the exhibition for the 20th anniversary of Gardenworks took place on 1 September with a small gathering of former and current colleagues, friends and family members. András and Judit thanked everyone who has supported the company over the past two decades.
