The garden of the Dunakeszi residence is one of the most complex works of our office. The large private garden, spread over an elongated plot, has reached its present form through careful maintenance. A challenge was the narrow shape of the garden, which we tried to eliminate in the design to create the feeling of a spacious site. The old evergreen trees are of particular value, nicely complemented by the new plant patches. On the steepest parts, large rocks from Dunabogdány are retaining the soil mass. The garden stretches down to the Danube, and the water feature in the wooden troughs reflecting on the water surface is a special experience. Irises and other water-mimicking plants decorate at the area of water’s outlet.
